Editorial Policy
Health information for older adults should be accurate, sourced and honest about uncertainty. Here’s how we research, write, update and correct every page.
Our Principles
- Accuracy first. Prices, guarantee terms and ingredients are checked against the seller’s own pages.
- Evidence, clearly labelled. We separate research on individual ingredients from what’s known about the finished formula.
- Safety up front. Medicine interactions and reasons to see a doctor appear wherever benefits are discussed.
- Independence. Commissions never decide what we say. See our affiliate disclosure.
- Readability. Plain words and larger type for readers over 50.
Sources We Use
- Government health agencies — NIH (including NCCIH, the Office of Dietary Supplements and the National Institute on Aging), CDC and FDA.
- Peer-reviewed research — preferably randomized trials, systematic reviews and meta-analyses, and major reports such as the Lancet Commission on dementia.
- The seller’s published information — for prices, terms and contact details only, never for health claims.
We link to the sources we use, and we only cite pages we have read.
How We Write About Health
- We use cautious language — “may support”, “has been studied for”.
- We never claim Neuro Sharp diagnoses, treats, cures or prevents any disease, including dementia.
- We give realistic timelines based on how ingredients are studied.
- We tell readers when a symptom needs a doctor rather than a supplement.
Who Writes and Reviews
Content is written and edited by Sharon. [If a pharmacist, doctor or dietitian reviews content, add their real name, credentials and profile link here; otherwise delete this sentence and never use ‘medically reviewed’.]
[If AI tools help prepare drafts, consider stating: ‘Some drafts are prepared with AI writing tools; every page is fact-checked and approved by a human editor.’ Keep, edit or delete to match reality.]
Customer Reviews
- We publish reviews only from real customers who have given permission.
- We don’t edit reviews to sound more positive, and we include mixed experiences.
- Reviews are labelled as individual experiences, not typical results.
Updates and Corrections
We review key pages at least [every 3 months] and immediately when prices, terms or ingredients change. Each page shows its last-updated date. To report an error, use our contact page.
